Wow, we can’t believe it’s almost the end of the 2022. When we started only 6 months ago, our vision was to create a practical one-stop shop to find out what gay shit was happening on the weekend and a tool to plan, without downloading extra apps or paywalls. More importantly, we want to help promote queer/gay artists, musicians, DJs, and highlight the vibrancy of our community.
It’s become that and so much more. Gay Agenda SF is evolving like a pokemon, and there’s so much more we want to do. It has been uncertain, time-consuming and a little intimidating at times. (Like, is anyone reading or using this?) But, your messages of encouragement make it worth it.
Since July, if you’ve visited Gay Agenda SF lately, you’ll notice that we’ve paused long-form articles and spotlights. We’ve wanted to focus more on providing consistent content each week on the Instagram (@gayagendasf) in the form of weekly top picks, video, and fun promotions. Additionally, we are focusing on providing accurate information listing events on the Gay Agenda SF google calendar, which you can access here, if you’re not already subscribed.
But! We’ll be bringing these newsletters back, on a monthly basis- partly because we’re masochists, but also because we’ve got a lot of gayness to talk about – from news to dating to gossip, and more.
What do we need from you?
Send us events to list on the calendar! Facebook and Eventbrites are great and easy to add to the Gay Agenda Calendar and will help us save time and promote it better.
Share your accomplishments or projects. Gay Agenda SF is not just about events. We want to hear what you’re doing. Get those humble brags on.
Give us your feedback. What’s working? What would you like to see more of? We like to use the term Gay Agenda SF “member”, rather than “follower”, because we want you to help us drive the agenda.
Help us get the word out. Like our posts, share the content with friends, and tag us if you used our picks to help you decide to go to that fabulous party.
Write to “Dear Baron”. We’d love to hear about your juicy dilemmas and help provide guidance. Consider us your guru for dating woes, family drama or creative projects.
